New online store

At last I've managed to sort out the bulk of my images and up loaded some to an on-line gallery, see it here , The picture below was one I found while sorting the photos, it is Caz and Kep in a snow storm in 2009. ---------------- Now playing: Natalie Imbruglia - That Day via FoxyTunes

Moving on

Image
The house is still feeling very empty after Kep, but time moves on and there is lots to do. The big task at the moment is sorting out my pictures, I have files of images all over my computer with around 30000 pictures in but not one file with the best work in, something I am now regretting, so its back to the start and looking in every file, about 70, and sorting out the best images. That is where this one has come from, it was un processed and forgotten in a folder of images shot last year in January. ---------------- Now playing: The Specials and Fun Boy Three - Gangsters via FoxyTunes

Kep, a thank you.

Image
Its been over a week and I still find myself having tearful moments, but the messages and words of support from everyone has made this dark time a little brighter. I known for most of the comments on here and facebook took just a moment to write, but they really meant a lot to Caz and me, thank you all very much. Two poems came to light during the past week, the first Caz found and posted on facebook. "He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, and his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." The second came from Gary, read this post to see how import he nearly was to Kep. The Last Battle If it should be that I grow frail and weak, And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, For this, the last battle, can't be won. You will be sad I understand, But don't let grief then stay your hand, For on this day, more than

Kep, a mans best friend.

A dog is described as man's best friend, I lost my best friend last Wednesday after what was a mercifully short illness. Kep will be well known to regular readers of the blog, he was always there to provide a funny story or a picture when nothing else was available. In fact for the past 14 years he has been my constant companion and now writing this in an empty house, I can not put in to words just how much I miss him. I would love to write loads about him, but the time is just not right (trying to write through tear filled eyes is just too hard), so I have put a few photos on here and there is a link to a book done in 2009 (It's a dogs life) which has been enabled for full viewing of all pages. ---------------- Now playing: Guns 'n' Roses - Since I Don't Have You via FoxyTunes
