Ziggys first portrait

After only 4 days here i thought it time we had a proper photo. So i set up the lights and back drop, arranged the camera on a tripod and fetched Ziggy. I put the puppy on the table and turned to press the shutter and turned back to see puppy had vanished, this went on for some time, till i got the shots need.

O.M.G! That picture has actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm feeling very low today and this has, in a very emotional way, cheered me up. Ziggy is absolutely gorgeous.

I had to laugh at the thought of him continuously jumping off the table. Try getting four collies lined up for a photo - it's almost impossible!!

When Sparky had her six pups in 2009, I took some photos of them and that was difficult to have them altogether, but we managed it in the end. I'll post some in the next few days on my blog. Thanks for the inspiration.

That's can't be the same little dog that is driving me nuts right now pulling up the dining room carpet - surely!!

Beautiful photo - why do i not get to know about these until they appear on the blog.

Climate change, I have to admit that I’m very skeptical about the existence of climate change and the whole global warming thing. My basis for this is that we (humans) have only been here for such a short time and for a large period of that were not really in a position to judge what was happening around us. I wrote this as part of the second days post: “365 different photos, I’m daunted and intrigued at the same time. Daunted with the task of taking the images and writing words to tie it all together and intrigued at what will be here in a year’s time. Will anybody see this? Will it make any sense?” 70,849 words, 367 photos, 3014 comments, and 43358 visitors from 164 countries later and it’s all done, I’m 42 and have the answer to those questions. Yes somebody has seen it and no it really does not make much sense, but that really does not seem to matter that much. I wanted to mark the passing of a year in my life and have ended up with a fantastic record of a year in both words and pictures. Have you ever put something off, that you really should have done, I have, getting assessed for dyslexia. Nearly my whole life I have had problems spelling, and have done every thing to avoid getting tested, why, because I was scared that I would not have it and be told I was just thick or lazy. Well yesterday I got tested, and the results surprised me. First I was informed that my reading ability was good to high, next I was informed that I have an IQ of over 120 (140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness 70-80 Borderline deficiency 50-69 Moron 20-49 Imbecile below 20 Idiot.) They have changed the lower classification for a more PC wording but this is the original. Lastly I was informed that I am Dyslexic and my writing and spelling were well below what my intelligence suggested (that why it takes me forever
