Nice Beaver

Just received the latest news letter from the UK Wolf conservation trust, a fantastic organisation trying to help improve the wolfs image through education. I got involved with them after my wife brought me a Wolf walk from them, this consisted of a 2 hour walk in the woods with 2 American timber wolfs and then time afterwards in the pens with some of the other wolfs at the trust, a truly special gift. The news letter reported on the discussions relating to the reintroduction of wild species in to Scotland, at this meeting there was a pole taken on how many people were happy for certain animals to be introduced back to the wild. The results were as follows.

Beaver 90%, Lynx 75%, Wolf 50%, Bear 15%. I would love to see all of them reintroduced but can understand people's reluctance to see a great big bear wandering free in their local woods. Photo today is about as close as I get to real wild life at the moment.

Love the title today!
My Small Sprog was a 'beaver' (pre-cubs, scouts etc.) He wasn't keen. However they did get badges for cleanliness on which were the words ''I'm a clean Beaver''!! Classic.

I wrote this as part of the second days post: “365 different photos, I’m daunted and intrigued at the same time. Daunted with the task of taking the images and writing words to tie it all together and intrigued at what will be here in a year’s time. Will anybody see this? You known how it is, you’ve loads to do and not much time, but with a little luck and a bit of careful planning and you can fit it all in and than someone makes you BLOG OF NOTE!!!!!! WOW, Arghhhhhhhhhh!. Have you ever put something off, that you really should have done, I have, getting assessed for dyslexia. Nearly my whole life I have had problems spelling, and have done every thing to avoid getting tested, why, because I was scared that I would not have it and be told I was just thick or lazy. Well yesterday I got tested, and the results surprised me. First I was informed that my reading ability was good to high, next I was informed that I have an IQ of over 120 (140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness 70-80 Borderline deficiency 50-69 Moron 20-49 Imbecile below 20 Idiot.)
