Up! down under

Feeling tons better today, thanks for all the lovely comments, they really picked up my spirits. Feeling so much better that I’ve spent some time randomly surfing the web, reading blogs from Australia. I’ve found that you can learn such a lot by reading a selection of blogs from one country as they all give a different insight to that place, and its normally not the one force fed to you by the media. That is one of the best things about the net; it lets you make up your own mind by giving you access to unprocessed information, and lots of it.

As for the photography I’ve been working on a project to do a weeks worth of shots just from my back garden, I know its not very adventurous but it will make me be as creative as possible as I try to get seven very different looking photos. Today’s photo could have made it into the set but it was taken down the side of the house so misses out by about ten feet. It is of a yellow poppy, I think that it should be classed as a weed as it is growing where we don’t want it, but I love these flowers, they are so delicate and colourful.

I wrote this as part of the second days post: “365 different photos, I’m daunted and intrigued at the same time. Daunted with the task of taking the images and writing words to tie it all together and intrigued at what will be here in a year’s time. Will anybody see this? You known how it is, you’ve loads to do and not much time, but with a little luck and a bit of careful planning and you can fit it all in and than someone makes you BLOG OF NOTE!!!!!! WOW, Arghhhhhhhhhh!. Have you ever put something off, that you really should have done, I have, getting assessed for dyslexia. Nearly my whole life I have had problems spelling, and have done every thing to avoid getting tested, why, because I was scared that I would not have it and be told I was just thick or lazy. Well yesterday I got tested, and the results surprised me. First I was informed that my reading ability was good to high, next I was informed that I have an IQ of over 120 (140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness 70-80 Borderline deficiency 50-69 Moron 20-49 Imbecile below 20 Idiot.) They have changed the lower classification for a more PC wording but this is the original.
