Robert De Niro's Waiting

My not so little brother was 40 over the weekend, so Saturday night saw us out on the town for the first time in a long time, and what a great night it was too. We finished up in the Valiant, a pub I had not been in for years, singing along to the hits of Bananarama with the rest of the pubs customers, which was a bit surreal as they were a mix of leather clad bikers, Goths and a few that looked like computer geeks! All singing along to “Robert De Niros Waiting” drunk at around 12:30, what a great night.

Sunday was a quite one as I had a bit of a hangover, a quick walk and then watched the GP.

Now I’m trying to get some motivation to try some light house work or even some gardening, but before I sign off here is a link to a site that has 3 of the funniest videos I have seen for a long time, all are reworking of classic tracks and if you are a music fan especially the 80s you will love this. I wrote this as part of the second days post: “365 different photos, I’m daunted and intrigued at the same time. Daunted with the task of taking the images and writing words to tie it all together and intrigued at what will be here in a year’s time. Will anybody see this? Will it make any sense?” 70,849 words, 367 photos, 3014 comments, and 43358 visitors from 164 countries later and it’s all done, I’m 42 and have the answer to those questions. Yes somebody has seen it and no it really does not make much sense, but that really does not seem to matter that much. Have you ever put something off, that you really should have done, I have, getting assessed for dyslexia. Nearly my whole life I have had problems spelling, and have done every thing to avoid getting tested, why, because I was scared that I would not have it and be told I was just thick or lazy. Well yesterday I got tested, and the results surprised me. First I was informed that my reading ability was good to high, next I was informed that I have an IQ of over 120 (140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness 70-80 Borderline deficiency 50-69 Moron 20-49 Imbecile below 20 Idiot.)
