Baby peach rocks

Spent last night just like a teenager, no not drunk and groping a teenage girl, but playing on a computer game. We have had Mario cart for the Wii and it is fantastic, the best bit is that you can play on line with your friends (Hi Sandra, we’ll beat you some day), so the last 2 hours of last night was spent racing round various different track disguised as a baby girl! Caz was try to text and operate the Wii, while Sandra at home over 100 miles away seemed to be able to do both and still win nearly every time? We think its too much time practicing during the day.
Any more feed back about the site I linked to yesterday would be appreciated, both the images I’ve uploaded and how the whole thing works, I really like how it shows you a mock up of the image in the frame and how you can change the wood colour.
The image today is of the sunflower shown earlier this year, but this time its just the seeds on view, something I had never seen before and found fascinating.

I really like the site - especially the cards and seeing the final framed prints. I did find it a bit difficult to figure out initially. That could be because I was distracted by the starting grid though ;-)

Scary how our kids seem to be able to multitask with every electronic equipment in the house, yet not able to take out the trash without whining and without chaos.

Climate change, I have to admit that I’m very skeptical about the existence of climate change and the whole global warming thing. My basis for this is that we (humans) have only been here for such a short time and for a large period of that were not really in a position to judge what was happening around us. I wrote this as part of the second days post: “365 different photos, I’m daunted and intrigued at the same time. Daunted with the task of taking the images and writing words to tie it all together and intrigued at what will be here in a year’s time. Will anybody see this? Will it make any sense?” 70,849 words, 367 photos, 3014 comments, and 43358 visitors from 164 countries later and it’s all done, I’m 42 and have the answer to those questions. Yes somebody has seen it and no it really does not make much sense, but that really does not seem to matter that much. I wanted to mark the passing of a year in my life and have ended up with a fantastic record of a year in both words and pictures. More than that it has changed my life, I have gained a confidence I never had, I can write without fear, my photography skill has improve and I realise that you can do nearly anything if you work at it. Have you ever put something off, that you really should have done, I have, getting assessed for dyslexia. Nearly my whole life I have had problems spelling, and have done every thing to avoid getting tested, why, because I was scared that I would not have it and be told I was just thick or lazy. Well yesterday I got tested, and the results surprised me. First I was informed that my reading ability was good to high, next I was informed that I have an IQ of over 120 (140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness 70-80 Borderline deficiency 50-69 Moron 20-49 Imbecile below 20 Idiot.) They have changed the lower classification for a more PC wording but this is the original.
